1. Dapat Kepercayaan Lebih dari Sutradara
Dalam proses produksi film Fast and Furious 6, Joe Taslim mendapatkan scene lebih banyak dari perkiraannya. Etos kerjanya yang tinggi dan fokus, membuat Joe mendapat kepercayaan lebih dari sutradara Justin Lin.
"Gue rasa di skenario nggak sebanyak itu adegannya," ucap aktor berusia 31 tahun tersebut.

2. Kendarai Tank
Dalam skenario yang diterima sebelum syuting berjalan, Joe hanya mendapat jatah untuk mengendarai Range Rover. Tapi, performance lebih yang diberikan Joe membuatnya diberi kesempatan masuk dalam adegan penting.
Joe mendapat kendaraan yang menurutnya paling keren, sebuah tank militer.

3. Berdialog Bahasa Indonesia

"Dulu waktu di Judo, kalau kata pelatih gue, masih bisa bangun berarti nggak apa-apa. Jadi disiplin dan kerja keras di Judo kebawa juga di akting," ucapnya.
